The European Register of Crypto-Asset Service Providers (MiCA) has added twelve new companies, marking one of the largest expansions since the initiative’s launch. This development underscores the growing influence of digital asset regulation in the European Union and efforts to ensure transparency and investor protection.According to the latest data, the total number of firms registered in the MiCA registry has reached 58, a 26% increase compared to the previous quarter. Among the new entrants are both major international platforms and promising startups from Germany, France, the Netherlands, and other EU countries. Among the newly registered firms are four companies offering digital asset custody services, three exchange platforms, and five fintech startups specializing in innovative blockchain solutions.Experts note that the expansion of the MiCA registry helps build trust in the crypto market and establishes uniform standards for all participants. The regulatory oversight introduced under MiCA imposes strict requirements for operational transparency, user data protection, and anti-money laundering measures. As a result, registered companies gain significant advantages, including access to the single European market and enhanced reputational resilience.Amid the ongoing wave of digital asset regulation, analysts expect the number of registered companies to continue growing in the coming months. This underscores the strategic importance of MiCA in fostering a safe and competitive environment for the development of the crypto industry in Europe.
